What is It?

The Victory Principle is a series of management concepts that describe a critically important process employed by successful organizations to achieve significant improvements in loyalty, retention, recruitment, absenteeism, presenteeism, the overall performance of employees, return on investment (ROI) from total compensation, as well as to attain a competitive advantage and sustainable growth.

 The concepts presented are intended for utilization by strategists, administrators and others interested in the successful operation of a patient/client focused health care delivery organization, for a consumer driven market. However, they can be adapted be essentially any organization.

The approach taken in The Victory Principle is a two-part strategic process, in which the ability to anticipate the clinical needs of health care consumers and translate them into viable products or services, at reasonable cost, is foremost. Of equal import is the organizational culture which influences the professional component  - the level of business decorum and human relations skills employed by personnel in the delivery of care to patients - of the service package. Both components must be considered critical to the manner in which the product/service package is perceived in the market place.

Incidentally, in the book, ("The Victory Principle: An Essential Strategic Guide For Health Care Providers In Search Of A Competitive Advantage And Increased Market Share," by Noel K. Harper, M.B.A.,  M. L. Wavecrest Publishing,2000), the emergence of a health care market with a more viable operational structure superseding the inequities inherent in traditional employer-sponsored health care programs, and the managed care juggernaut it spawned, was the subject of  extensive discussion. Included were many forward looking concepts, based on a then seemingly risky prediction. Essentially, in The Victory Principle ... , N. K. Harper took the risk of predicting that the fundamental logic underlying innovative tax and investment benefits associated with medical savings accounts (MSAs), would eventually be incorporated into numerous employment-based health care benefit plans, spun-off by enterprising entities, and succeed in changing the direction of the market — much like we are witnessing, now that health reimbursement accounts (HRAs) and health savings accounts (HSAs) have been approved by Congress and the Administration. 

Therefore, with considerably greater confidence, N. K. Harper now predicts that Providers and employers are at a pivotal junction on the the need to formulate workable partnership arrangements. To facilitate clients in this regard, Victory Consulting offers the concept of a health and well being centric organizational culture, which serves as a catalytic force for engineering long term economic viability.
